Cheetos Combineetos
Brief
To start off this project with PepsiCo, the class was split up into two groups. Our team of 5 was tasked with conceptualizing, branding, and creating a launch campaign for a new flavor of Cheetos. We had in-process meetings with PepsiCo., primarily receiving feedback from Kelly Romano- Senior Design Manager, PBNA South Division, and Chanerica Evuen- Director, Design Global, & International Business. Throughout our time working with PepsiCo. they were very impressed with our work, so more partners were invited to attend our final presentation. Through our collaboration with PepsiCo., we gained invaluable experience- not only with brand ideation, but also with presentation skills, teamwork, and so much more.
Strategy
During our initial research, we found that Cheetos has a huge variety of flavors, internationally. These flavors seemed to combine multiple flavors into one bag. But, while we wanted to bring the international flavors in, we also wanted our domestic products to still shine like they always do. We picked a cuisine that's unique to this country, Chicken & Waffles. In spirit of mixing flavors we focused the branding on the act of combining and science hence the name Cheetos Combineetos. Based on our set demographic for the project(Millennials & Gen Z) we delved into nostalgic imagery as well.

Lenticular Bus Stop Poster
Lenticular print is a type of print process where the viewer can see two different images from two different angles. Used more often before physical digital ads you see now. I chose to create an ad with this type of print because it is interactive, nostalgic, and gets point across of the idea of combination.
We included our two pop-culture icon scientists to make an appearance in the making of Cheetos Combineetos through this lenticular print. In this advertisement we wanted to convey the moment of eureka through time. Through cause and effect we show the process of Chester creating the new Cheetos Comineetos flavor in action.
